Joint-stock company Vibrobeton is a producer of reinforced concrete sleepers since 1963. Since then, we worked on many generations of equipment and types of sleepers, but since 1998 we have worked with equipment of the latest technological generation. Annual capacity is 300.000 pieces per year of sleepers type PB85-E which are designed and developed based on German sleeper type B-70, as the most installed on European net of railways.
 
A constructive solution of reinforcing is based on introducing the force through an anchor, which insures the safety and durability of a sleeper. The equipment gives a possibility of developing other forms of concrete sleepers, and this type of sleeper enables the acceptance of different kinds of elastic railway track sets (Pandrol, SEL etc.), and different rails (S.49, UIC60). This type was adopted by the Croatian Railways in 1998/99 and since then, about 700.000 pieces have been installed with capital reparations which are in the interest of safety and speed.

The concept of technological equipment is based on the "Karusel" (closed circle) doctrine where the batteries of 4 individual moulds are circulating (travel) on technological operations (oiling the moulds - installing of prepared armature - reinforcing - concreting - sweltering in chambers - shaking out - installation of equipment - export). The whole process is automatically manipulated and controlled, and there are some notes about important parameters (number of products, force of prestressing, regime of sweltering, etc.).  Quality control is assured by using the ISO 9001:2000 system, constant supervision of the authorized institute (IGH) and by the control of our own laboratory.

Temporary superintendence is made in Technical institute in Münchenu by the criteria of "DB" and the results are very satisfying. After dimensional control is made the sleepers are exported to warehouse with a capacity of approximately 100.000 pieces. From the warehouse, the sleepers are shipped in rail cars, additional controls are made and then they are shipped from an industrial platform inside the warehouse.  
 
Besides concrete sleepers in the program of railway concrete products, a few types of concrete canals for drainage of rainwater are made (type I, type II, type III). This production is made with new equipment (vibro compressors) with the latest constructive solutions (micro reinforcing, etc.), which yield a quality product. There are three types of marginal platforms (Lo20, Lo35 and Lo55) for different uses of platforms in correlated to needed heights to GRT.
